#052 GAD BA6: Texture Documentation Part 2

Today I went in to Uni to speak to one of my tutors about the work done so far. Overall my model was to a good standard as well as my texturing, but I could improve my texturing by adding a few bits. The model itself is at a very low poly, not a bad thing, but I could of gone for a bit higher. I have struggled to keep the poly count down, but I've done it as an extreme example of what can be done.

So I sat down with my tutor and went over the textures, adding in some details to make the textures look a bit better. As you can see below in the floor texture, I've added a transition to the floor edges with a slight colour. This breaks up the instant change between one texture and another, making a much more visually appealing piece.

Similarly to the floor texture, I added a bit of a transition on to the concrete walls. Combined with the floor texture, the two transitions meet together perfectly, making a smooth yet still hard transition between floor and walls.
