Personal - ITV Growler

After looking over my Abrams Tank model, I knew I could do a lot better. The poly count was too high and some of the details were over the top. Instead of going over the model again and getting sick of it, I took it as a learning experience and moved on to a new model.

I began looking into the US Marines ITV Growler, specifically the one used to tow mortar and ammunition trailers, not the one for reconnaissance.

On the left, the ITV Growler used for towing. On the right, the ITV Growler used for reconnaissance.

It took me a lot less time than I thought. A few hours here and there spread over a week and I was already done with the mesh and nearly done UV mapping. Another day or so and I had my model to a stage where I was happy to leave it. At only 19,000 poly's (no tris) I was pretty pleased with it, considering the amount of round bars used in the chassis.
